Computer Systems Management, Inc. (CSMi) relocates and becomes OnPoint

March 18, 2005

Arlington, VA - Computer Systems Management, Inc. (CSMi), an ISO-certified technology and management consulting company, today celebrated the opening of its new corporate headquarters and unveiled its new name, OnPoint, at an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

CSMi moved its headquarters from Alexandria’s west end to Arlington at the end of 2004. “We felt that it was critical to have metro access and to upgrade our office space – we definitely accomplished both with this building and this location. The employees are really excited about the new location and we have been receiving compliments from our business partners and clients,” said President Shankar Pillai.

At the formal ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of their corporate relocation, CSMi took the opportunity to introduce their new name, logo, and brand to 150 people including local officials, clients, business partners, and vendors.

The new brand captures the spirit and energy of the company while better symbolizing the corporate vision and mission. Chosen after an internal naming competition, corporate executives liked the new name, OnPoint, partly because it is easy to pronounce, easy to remember, and has a meaning. “We are really excited about the new name and the branding it represents. We especially like using green - it represents growth, new ideas, freshness, stability, and optimism. These are all attributes and values of our company,” said Executive Vice President Michael Agrillo.
