OnPoint Receives Ten Contract and Task Order Awards
ARLINGTON, VA – October 5, 2008 – OnPoint Consulting, Inc. (OnPoint) has received ten new contract and task order awards over the past three months, both as a prime contractor and as a subcontractor to large and small businesses. The new awards cover all four of OnPoint’s lines of business, including Network Operations, Systems Development, Information Assurance, and Project Management. Specific awards include:
- Systems Development Support for the Department of State (DoS) – OnPoint is providing systems development support to the DoS Bureau of Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs (OES) Research Authorizations Tracking System (RATS)
- Redesign of the Public Website for the D.C. Water and Sewer Authority (DCWASA)– OnPoint is performing its third redesign in eight years of the DCWASA public web site (www.dcwasa.com)
- Information Assurance Policy Development for the Department of the Treasury Office of the CIO – OnPoint is developing a new policy directive for managing classified systems as part of the Treasury Information Technology Security Program
- Information Assurance Support for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of the CIO – OnPoint is providing penetration testing support for the NIH OCIO’s FISMA systems
- Information Assurance Support for the NIH National Library of Medicine (NLM) – OnPoint is providing penetration testing for NLM’s major applications and general support systems
- Enterprise IT Support for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Office of the CIO – As a subcontractor to Centech, OnPoint is providing Information Assurance, Systems Engineering, and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) support
- Oracle Federal Financials Support for the DOT FAA Enterprise Service Center (ESC), Oklahoma City – As a subcontractor to Apptis, OnPoint is providing Oracle Federal Financials implementation support for two of ESC’s new Federal customers: Consumer Product Safety Commission (www.cpsc.gov) and the National Credit Union Administration (www.ncua.gov)
- Remedy 7 Implementation Support for the DOT FAA ESC, Oklahoma City – As a subcontractor to Centech, OnPoint is providing program management support and technical consulting for the implementation of BMC Remedy 7 for the ESC
- Technical Writing Support for the Montgomery County Government Office of the CIO – As a subcontractor to Array, OnPoint is providing a technical writer to support policy development and technical documentation for the Montgomery County Office of the CIO
- Program Management Support for the Small Business Administration – As a subcontractor to Diamond Information Systems, OnPoint is providing business process reengineering (BPR) support for the SBA’s HubZone Program.
