OnPoint Awarded HITSS Program Task to Support State Department’s Overseas Buildings Operations

ARLINGTON, VA – January, 2009 – OnPoint Consulting Inc. (OnPoint) has been awarded a four-year, $15 million task order under the Hybrid Information Technology Services for State (HITSS) Program to provide the Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) Application Development Support Services (ADSS). OnPoint’s partners for the OBO ADSS contract include Geneva Software, Inc. and BearingPoint, Inc., both existing OBO contractors for more than eight years.

OBO directs the worldwide overseas buildings program for the Department of State and the U.S. Government community serving abroad under the authority of the chiefs of mission. In concert with other State Department bureaus, foreign affairs agencies, and Congress, OBO sets worldwide priorities for the design, construction, acquisition, maintenance, use, and sale of real properties and the use of sales proceeds.
