OnPoint Announces New CTO
ARLINGTON, VA – April, 2009 – OnPoint Consulting Inc. (OnPoint) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Wayne Wright as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Mr. Wright will lead OnPoint’s solution development for major IT infrastructure and systems development programs, and provide value-added consulting services for OnPoint’s existing customers to address complex, technology-related issues.
Mr. Wright brings more than 30 years of federal IT experience, including 20+ years with large systems integrators such as EDS and CSC, and 10+ years as a federal employee with the Library of Congress, House of Representatives, and Department of Education. During his tenures with EDS and CSC, Mr. Wright served as Deputy Program Manager for a $400M Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HITS IT outsourcing program; CTO for the consolidation of 25 data centers for a federal department; and solution architect for several $100M+ solicitations. Mr. Wright also served as the Deputy CIO for Enterprise IT Management for the Department of Education’s Office of Financial Student Aid (FSA), where he was responsible for information security, IT architecture and standards, enterprise data management and enterprise application integration. In addition to his outstanding professional experience, Mr. Wright is PMP and ITIL Expert certified, and holds an Executive MBA and Masters degree in Management Information Systems.
