Special Skills/ Knowledge/ Work Experience
- Analyze, design, and implement network, security, server, and workstation related technologies.
- Perform custom designs and installations of COTS products.
- Provide clear technical documentation and written procedures for the implementation of new products.
- Exceptional analytic and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and DNS.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows XP Professional.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers including Active Directory, integrated DNS and DHCP.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft back-end products including SQL server, Exchange server, Sharepoint Portal services, ISA, IIS, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity in Cyber Security with respect to Federal IT security (NIST, FISMA, OMB).
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a broad range of networking and server technologies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Related Work Experience
- Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory
- Experience with Blade server technology
- Experience with HIDS and NIDS
- Firewall, router and switch experience a plus
- SharePoint Portal Server 2003/2007, SQL Server 2000/2005, Citrix MetaFrame 4.0/4.5 knowledge is a plus
- Experience working with Federal IT customers a plus
Requirements
- US Citizenship required.
- DOE clearance is a plus.
- MCSA/MCSE a plus.
